Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers. If your question isn't here, ask us directly.

Is this actually legal for a foreigner to be involved in?

Yes, done properly. Thai law requires majority Thai ownership of most business types, so any company we use to buy is genuinely Thai-majority owned, not a workaround. We're not interested in a nominee structure that could put anyone — you, us, or the business — at legal risk. If you've been offered a deal that sounds like it's cutting corners on this, that's worth being cautious about.

Will my staff or customers find out I'm talking to you?

No. Every conversation is confidential until you decide otherwise. Nothing is shared, listed, or discussed with anyone else.

Do I pay anything to sell my business this way?

No broker fees or commission are charged to you. Legal costs for drawing up the sale agreement are discussed and agreed as part of the deal, not sprung on you afterwards.

What if my business is struggling, not just me retiring?

We consider both profitable businesses and those going through a difficult patch. We'll tell you plainly if the numbers don't support a deal, but we're happy to look regardless of the reason you're selling.

Do you speak Thai?

This site currently reads in English, with a Thai-language version planned. A conversation can be arranged in Thai — just say so when you get in touch.

I'm a foreign owner and I've heard about the new rules on nominee shareholders — does that affect me?

It might, and it's worth raising with us directly rather than guessing. If your business is currently held through a structure you're not sure is genuinely compliant, that's exactly the kind of situation a proper, honest conversation can help with — we're not here to judge how a business got set up, just to talk through where it can go from here.

How quickly can this move?

As quickly as makes sense for both sides. We'll give you a straight answer on whether a deal is realistic early on, rather than leaving you waiting for months.
